Press Release –
Andrew Johnstad continues to be the National Points leader in both Semi-Pro Open and Semi-Pro Super Stock Classes after his stellar performance in Canada.
He had a near flawless run in the Semi-Pro Open class, winning most of his rounds and ultimately WINNING the Semi-Pro Open Final. In the Semi-Pro Super Stock he kicked-butt in his rounds and finished on the podium with a 2nd. (GO Andrew!)
“This is just a blast! I’m having a great time out there. I think the secret for me is keeping my head in the game. Going out there and running MY race. Not letting the competition in my head. I’m lucky as I can just concentrate on racing because I have an incredible support system. Being a part of the Avalanche Racing Team has made a huge difference for me this year.” said Andrew.
“We are so excited that Andrew is doing so well this year. He is an asset to the team on and off the track. We see nothing but positive things for Andrew’s racing career as he has developed the tools it takes to go all the way.” said Bonnie Glefke (Team Co-Owner) with great pride.
Mike Schultz – resident Pro and all around great guy moved up in the Year-End Pro Super Stock National Points race after this weekends racing in Canada.
He is currently in 4th in Pro Super Stocktotal points. WPSA’s National Circuit can be seen on the SPEED Channel.
