WPSA ANNOUNCES SARNIA EVENT

RYDEFX WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SNOCROSS CO-SANCTIONED BY CSRA

The WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour, along with Canadian Snowcross Racing Association (CSRA), will host a national Snocross race Feb. 22-23-24 in Sarnia, Ontario.

The RydeFX World Championship Snocross represents Round 8 of the 10-race 2007-2008 PowerSports Snowmobile Tour.

“We’re pleased to announce our first visit to Ontario in several years,” said PowerSports Entertainment, Inc. President Scott O’Malley. “This event is situated in a perfect market for Snocross Racing and the local community has voiced strong support for the event. In addition, it’s exciting to work with our friends at the CSRA.”

“We’ve been looking for opportunities to team up with WPSA, and we’re very excited to an-nounce this event,” said Ken Avann, CSRA president. “Sarnia is central to some of the top rec-reational snowmobile areas in all of Canada, so this is certain to be a successful event.”

The racing weekend is being sponsored by shock absorber manufacturer RydeFX. ArvinMeritor Ride Control Products, which produces RydeFX High Performance Shocks, has been a global manufacturer of OEM and replacement shock absorbers for nearly half a century.

RydeFX has been the largest OEM supplier to the snowmobile market for decades, in addition to being a major supplier to the ATV, Personal Watercraft, and Motorcycle industry.
