Press Release –

After receiving thousands of entry forms at the WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour Air Force Canterbury Snocross this past January 11-13, 2008, at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minnesota, the results have been tallied.

Mike Ness from Fertile, Minnesota, is the lucky winner of the trip for two to Las Vegas to see the NASCAR UAW Dodge 400 in Las Vegas, Nevada, March 2, 2008. The trip is courtesy of KFC Honey BBQ Hot Wings, Arctic Cat and Christian Brothers Racing (CBR).

Ness dropped his entry form in the box at the CBR booth this past weekend and his name was picked from the pile during the drawing before the Pro final on Sunday, January 13. Semi-Pro snocross rider and Fertile-Beltrami High School grad Andrew Johnstad had the honor of picking the winner while he stood on the podium after his second place finish in Semi-Pro Open Sunday.

“We received a lot of entries,” said CBR co-owner Dwight Christian. “A lot of people who stopped by thought it was too good to be true, but once we let them know it was legit they couldn’t get their entry forms filled out fast enough. It was an exciting contest.”

Ness will fly out of Minneapolis for sunny Las Vegas, Nevada, February 28 and return March 3, 2008. Ness’ air fare, hotel and race tickets are all courtesy of KFC Honey BBQ Hot Wings, Arctic Cat and CBR.

It’s a race fan’s dream come true and this lucky snocross fan should have the time of his life.
