IPONE MAINTENANCE AND CARELINE PRODUCTS

0

As the snowmobile season comes to an end, it’s always good practice to put your sled away in tip top condition. This not only extends life of your sled, it ensures a smooth start to the next season.

IPONE understands this and its broad assortment of MAINTENANCE and CARELINE products are developed for supreme performance.

The MAINTENANCE line includes a range of products including brake fluids, shock oils, radiator coolant and transmission fluids.

The CARELINE which was created to clean, shine, and protect your machine is an extensive line made up of over 30 products split between 5 product families, which includes everything from lubricants, degreasers, cleaners, and polishes.

One of the things we love best about IPONE is its huge 750ml aerosol cans and the multi position diffuser spray nozzle, which tilts and locks in a closed position and can be opened to multiple angles and reacts to the amount of pressure you apply, giving either a heavy soak or a powerful jet spray action.

These aerosol bottles are by far the nicest design we’ve ever used and because they are so much bigger, you don’t have to keep going back to the cabinet or store to grab more.

To view IPONE’s complete line of products visit ipone.com. Canadian residents can purchase IPONE through the Parts Canada dealer network.

2023 SKI-DOO G5 XRS RENEGADE

0

***ADVERTORIAL***

Does it seem odd a sled that has carved out a reputation as stellar as Ski-Doo’s XRS Renegade would undergo major changes for MY 2023?

We think so too, but Ski-Doo keeps its complete product line on a four to five year updating cycle and the G4 architecture was due to be refreshed for the upcoming model year.

So, what’s new and what’s different about the new G5 platform?

Let’s start with an all new frontal profile for the X-RS. The G5 brings a sleeker, less edgy, more visually appealing look up front. The new bodywork includes a much easier-to-access engine bay needing to remove just six screws to gain full access under hood. The fresh bodywork uses an innovative sound-absorbing lining that noticeably cuts engine noise at all RPM levels.

More importantly, a major revision to the engine mounting system includes four completely re-engineered engine mounts – one more than the G4. While this might not sound like a huge development, it nets a quantifiable improvement in hood, handlebar, handguard and footrest vibration, particularly at idle and up to engagement.

The windshield shows no vibes or shakes at these levels and a tangible feeling of refinement spreads throughout the chassis as a result of this new 4-mount system.

The G5 X-RS is the first Ski-Doo platform to include a full LED headlight system. LED lighting provides an incomparable amount of forward illumination seasoned Ski-Doo riders will immediately identify and appreciate. This isn’t a big deal, it’s a huge deal – and it gets approval from every test rider.

New Gauges

Ski-Doo goes to the front of the class with an enormous 10.2-inch illuminated gauge cluster. The new instrumentation can be toggled using all-new left-hand switchgear or the gloves-on touch screen. In either case, this setup is incredibly intuitive to use and frankly, so easy to get info from, it’s almost silly. Nothing beats having key information falling right in your lower peripheral. Well done!

KYB Triple Clicks

Ski-Doo commissioned all new KYB dampers for the G5 X-RS. The engineers definitely got it right incorporating three clicker adjustments (soft, medium, hard) that include not only high speed compression damping adjustment but corresponding low-speed adjustment at the same time. Helmets off to Ski-Doo for simplifying this entire process. Riders will quickly and easily find the perfect set-up that suits them best.

XRS Defines High Performance

Without a doubt, the acronym X-RS comes with a stellar reputation for precise handling, ultimate suspension compliance and incomparable power from either a 180-hp ACE 900 Turbo R or an impressive 165-hp 850 E-TEC. Should you have any doubts about the G5 X-RS, we’d suggest a trip to your local Ski-Doo store to get hands-on with it and experience this incredibly potent, breakthrough snowmobile.

Arctic Cat Announces Pre-Sales Event Date and Previews 2023 Lineup

Arctic Cat Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) announced today that the company will delay the start of its pre-ordering event for model-year 2023 snowmobiles from March until April 19. In the interim, Arctic Cat will fulfill its commitments to customers who ordered model-year 2022 snowmobiles that have not yet been delivered due to ongoing supply-chain challenges.

Arctic Cat’s pre-order event for model-year 2023 sleds will run from April 19 through May 3. Arctic Cat also plans to have a limited number of MY23 sleds available in-season at dealerships.

The company today previewed its MY23 lineup, which includes several new models and product updates that provide options for all skill levels — welcoming even more riders into the Arctic Cat family.

“The supply chain continues to be an issue for all manufacturers, and we are taking an approach to ensure we can deliver on our current commitments to customers,” said Heidi McNary, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Powersports for Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. “Our focus is to put our customers first by delivering our current models, and also offering them 2023 sleds that give them more options and new products for their different riding styles.”

Trail and crossover enthusiasts now have more options to pair engine packages and suspensions on ZR and RIOT models with no upcharge on colors. Engine packages include 6000 and 8000 for ZR models, 9000 for Thundercat, and 8000 and 9000 engines for RIOT — with standard EPS on all 9000 models. Suspension packages include IFP shocks, FOX QS3 or Arctic Cat’s revolutionary, adjust-on-the-fly ATAC suspension system.

For mountain riders the Mountain Cat ALPHA ONE will have three available track lengths, electric or manual start, and will feature an ATAC suspension. The Hardcore will have the same track lengths and start options with FOX QS3 shocks.

Industry-leading turbo power comes to the crossover segment with the introduction of the new RIOT 9000. The RIOT 9000 combines a C-TEC 4 998cc, 4-stroke 9000 Series DOHC Turbo Triple churning 200-plus horsepower with the ARS II front suspension and CROSS-ACTION Rear Suspension for an adrenaline-inducing on- or off-trail ride. Standard EPS makes the sled more nimble and creates less rider fatigue for a more enjoyable, exhilarating experience.

Also new for 2023:

The ZR 6000 R-XC is available as part of the pre-order program only. BLAST models offer customized graphics, improved ride with rear shock and high/low setting on handlebar heaters. BLAST M Limited model with 36-inch ski stance, FOX FLOAT® 3 ski and rear shocks, and IFP front rear shock, lightweight mountain seat, and special color and graphics. Youth sleds have new graphics with black hood.

All 2023 Arctic Cat snowmobiles will be available for pre-order during April 19 – May 3.
